I am Darren Porter. Welcome to my site, I hope you enjoy what you see and contact me if you have any questions.
I have always had a passion for knives.Since High School I have wanted to make knives. Finally in 2015 my dream became a reality. I started with making knives with files and then I built my own belt grinder which has made my knife making take a serious leap forward. I also make the accessories for knives such as sheathes and wooden boxes.
I am a keen hunter and a good knife is essential. This is why the bulk of my knives so far are hunters or skinners. I am able and willing to try most knife designs. As yet I do not make folders, but I will be venturing into these interesting knives in the future

MY KNIVES
I use mostly N690 Stainless Steel, I also use High Carbon Tool Steel. For bigger chopping type knives I use 5160 steel. I sharpen all my knives to an edge that will shave my arm hair easily.
Handle material is totally up to the new owner, I prefer natural materials but will make any handle you can desire within reason and availability.
